Traditional Apulian Cooking Course "Come una volta" 'Like in the Old Days': Grandma's Cooking

THE OFFER INCLUDES
The course takes place in a rural location «Country House»
Production techniques and preparation methods will be used and that our grandmothers employed in the past. The course includes the preparation of three types of fresh pasta: orecchiette, strascinati, and cavatelli, starting from the flour and ending with the finished pasta
The pasta will be made by the participants typical wooden boards (spianatoie) will be used under the careful supervision of the housewife. Additionally, traditional taralli will be made and baked directly in a wood-fired oven, just like it used to be done. The cooking of fresh pasta will take place directly over the coals, as our grandparents used to do.
At the end of the preparation and experience a small lunch will be served It includes three types of typical appetizers from the region, based on the seasonal products available, a first course (orecchiette with fresh tomatoes, basil, and cacioricotta), and a typical Apulian dessert. Water and wine produced by the farm are included.
